The Bees

For a band less than a decade old, The Bees have packed in a lot of highs: Mercury Prize nominations, triumphant Glastonbury Festival appearances, tour dates with Pink Floyd, The Incredible String Band, Paul Weller, Fleet Foxes and many more plus more critical acclaim for their 4 studio albums than you can shake a stick at.  

The Bees (known in theUnited Statesas A Band of Bees) are from Ventnor,Isle of Wight. Although their sound is generally classified as indie rock or psychedelic rock, the band have a colourful range of styles and influences, such as 1960s garage rock, country, reggae and jazz. Frontman Paul Butler has recently produced albums for Devendra Banhart and Michael Kiwinuka.
